Martha Graham (May 11, 1894 – April 1 , 1991) was an American modern dancer, choreographer, and author of my favorite quote. Her approach to dance and theater revolutionized the art form. People magazine included her in the list of female Icons of the Century and Time magazine named her Dancer of the Century.
This quote of hers lights me up! I feel it to my core.
