Thank you, Annie, for this wonderful recap of your early introduction to Maude. I was around 17 when first exposed to Harold and Maude, in a double feature along with King of Hearts. Both were very touching but Maude set the tone for who I wanted to emulate. Years later I cried when I heard that Ruth Gordon had passed.
