It’s 2025, and azaleas have taken up residence in my creative world. 🌺
I’m working on a new screenplay where the flower plays a key role, and they’re popping up in my art, too (like the painting above).
The more I obsess…I mean, think… about them, the more they feel like the perfect symbol for the year ahead.
Azaleas are more than beautiful blooms. The internet told me they symbolize transformation, personal growth, and self-love. I feel like they can serve as a good reminder that growth isn’t linear, every twist and turn matters.
Flowers, in their quiet brilliance, teach us a lot about life. They don’t rush. They don’t force their petals to unfold before their time. They thrive on sunlight, water, and trust in the natural rhythm of things. And when they bloom, they do it fully—without hesitation, without apology.
So this year, let’s be azaleas!
Rest when rest is needed. That’s part of the process, not a deviation from it. (I keep telling myself).
Bloom when the time is right—not when it’s expected.
Trust that even in the stillness, growth is happening.
Let’s nurture ourselves the way we would a thriving garden. Feed your passions. Hydrate your dreams. Let sunlight and creativity soak into every corner of your being. Growth isn’t about perfection (no such thing) it’s about presence. It’s about showing up for yourself in ways that matter most to you.
2025 is the year to fully step into your own cycles of growth. To recognize that every quiet moment, every bold decision, every step forward (or sideways) is shaping something extraordinary.
What will you nurture this year? Your creativity? Your sense of wonder? That one idea that’s been tugging at your sleeve, waiting for you to say, It’s time? Whatever it is, dive in! This is the year to grow.
Here’s to boldly blooming unapologetically. 🌸
Break on through by being you.
Love ya oodles and poodles, 🐩
𝓐𝓷𝓷𝓲𝓮 𝓦𝓸𝓸𝓭 ✌
P.S. What’s taking root in your life right now? Let me know in the comments—I’d love to hear what you’re cultivating.

A lovely way to think about this new year. Thank you, Annie. 🌺
